Let God be found true though every man be a liar.

There is one and only one biblical approach to an abusive spouse: see 1 Cor. 7:11

If you have "remarried" there is ZERO way around Christ's repeated warnings that this is ongoing legalized adultery, no matter how many "professionals" agree with your godless humanism. The last thing you are, woman, is "led by the Spirit", unless you're speaking of the demonic spirits. God certainly did not separate you (unless this first husband was already a legalized adulterer with you), satan did that. You are a tragically deceived woman and it behooves you not to die in that immoral state.

What part of, "A wife is bound as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord" is unclear to you and your "spirit-filled" advisors, Ms. Kat?

You're incorrect. God ended my marraige by a move of His Holy Spirit. In a way I never could and revealed all hidden to His light. He bought assistance and agreement from bible believing Holy Spirit baptised Christians, and an agreement of 3 professionals. The Lord showed me Ezra. My husband was violent abusive destroying our daughter who was and is God's daughter and me. My xhusband renounced our marraige and threatened to leave complained daily renounced Christ. I don't know if God joined us but God separated us. It is very easy to make a stand when you haven't walked it with the Lord. I thank God for the Holy husband he is bringing me prophesied also by saints. Praise the Living Lord Jesus Christ who can change my faith in this where wrong. He blesses His Holy Spirit led children according to and in His Body. Why would he not join His Body. Praise and Glory to God Father King.

Thanks for your comment, Doug. It is true that both women were foreign wives, but it is also true that neither of them was the one-flesh wife of any living person at the time they married their Hebrew husbands, Boaz and Salmon, respectively. In an era where concurrent polygamy was tolerated among the Jews, we don't know whether either of these men had other living wives prior to these marriages. If they did, God would not have supernaturally joined them as one-flesh, but as we see from the case of Bathsheba (through Solomon), and Rachel (through Benjamin) it was not strictly necessary to be a one-flesh covenant wife to be in the lineage of Jesus.

As for their nationality, it is clear that God looked on the heart of these women in selecting them. His objection to the pagan wives was to their idolatry which would turn their husbands' hearts away from God. In both of these cases, these women declared their loyalty to the one true God well before their marriages took place.

You typed -- "Deuteronomy 21:10 -14 – The situation of taking a captive woman as a wife as a result of war spoils, perhaps polygamously, which might also have required a writ of divorcement if she wanted to go free, where there wasn’t necessarily a one-flesh relationship joined by God. This is because this was essentially an unlawful marriage, of the type repented of in Ezra, chapters 9 and 10, where a holy God forbid the taking of pagan wives and presumably would not have participated. It seems a bit unclear why Moses permitted it."

Ruth was a Moabites and Rahab a foreign harlot were both lineage of Messiah.
